CEDRIC LA LUNA
For more than 10 years, Cédric La Luna has been one of the most reputable DJ's of the French riviera. With roots in the Techno music tradition, he has an extensive musical career, involving foremost his role as a DJ, but also event organizer, senior technician, and music producer/composer.
Cédric La Luna is a seasoned artist, spinning at some of the most famous clubs in the Côte d’Azur, including Jimmy’z and the Parady’z (1997-1998) in Monte Carlo, the Papagayo in Saint-Tropez and L’Ambassade in Nice (1998-2002), Les Coulisses et Le Bâoli in Cannes (2003-2006) where he mixed during the launch of the latest episode of Star Wars [accompanied by the full cast and production team during the Cannes Film Festival], not to mention the party gigs under the sun at Nikki Beach in Saint-Tropez.! In addition, he has shaped the world-renowned parties of Kinky, Dolly Party, Paradox, Ibiza Party, among others.
During this period, Cédric La Luna has also had the occasion to mix in a range of clubs in Paris: the Bains Douches, the Queen, and the Tanja, to name a few. With time and experience, he has adopted a refined mixing technique with an acute sensibility and intuition in regard to the dance-floor and the crowd, adapting to the latest trends, without 'selling out' to anything 'cheesy' or 'bad taste'..!
These attributes have allowed Cédric La Luna to be selected as the DJ to set the dance-floor on fire at the first part of Moby's concert (29 Octobre 2002) at Palais Nikaïa in Nice.
In the end of 2006, Cédric La Luna finally relocated to the capital [Paris], accepting the post of Artistic Director of La Cantine du Faubourg, which caters to clients of the international elite, working in-house for 2 1/2 years. He contributed to the organization of a number of high-profile events, in terms of technical set-up and musical entertainment: the International Rugby Awards, event planning and management for prestigious corporate and promotional events for L'Oréal, Lancôme, Mercedes, Vente-privée.com, show cases for channels M6, Game One...etc. Once again, he was able to adapt while mixing a varied roster of music and genres, in order to create a unique atmosphere during each event, always staying true to the 'general vibe' in the premises...
Since 2009, Cédric La Luna is pursuing a free-lance career internationally. He is a recurring guest VIP DJ at Fratelli Club [one of the largest clubs in Bucharest].
In 2010, Cedric co-worked on projects production with DJ Freddy and Michel Avannier on Courtoisie Records. He's resident at the Bâoli Beach during the summer at Cannes and he's actually resident (2 days a week) at Le Matignon on Paris... He's continuing to developpe, in parallel, music production and internationals booking...
